I just figured out how to reply to your comment and for some reason am not restricted by characters like leaving a general comment to all. Should I have created a blog post or forum rather than a comment when I intially joined the group?
I am not particularly looking for an electric, but I don't know what is around here, so I am open to anything at this stage. I am very curious where people get their trikes and if there is anywhere in Brissy to try them out before purchasing. So long as I am phyically able to petal (I may need straps to keep my feet positioned correctly), I am happy with a leg powered trike, especially since I really need to keep my legs strong to keep the walking ability I have.
Thanks Doc, it's nice to get positive feedback and I hope to get the time shortly to participate on the Brisbane Cyclist forum. Maybe our lives will cross one of these days and we will be able to have a beer together.
Thanks Doc, I have spoken to Sapoty quite a few times and he is very passionate in reducing carbon. His pricing is quite good when you realize that you have to put it all together yourself. Takes about 6-8 hours provided you have some mechanical aptitude.I like the idea of being able to have 2 batteries, especially for an old fella like myself .
