I Wish I Had A Bike When I Was In Sydney

Updates from Tweed Coast rides

Hey - another shot from the bridge......the coast ride i did the day before is mapped as well - this was 38KM - its a bit slower as alot of people usually around on this one......great shot from Hastings Point....and also great shots of Cabarita beach i will post at later date

Kingscliff to Murwillumbah Loop

Hey All...last weekend i enjoyed a ride down @ Kingscliff .....if you down the GC for the weekend or are keen for a day trip to Kingscliff ..there is a really good 60KM ride @ Kingscliff (there are options to lengthen ride)....couple of decent hill climbs to test...Murwillumbah is just over 30km from starting points for a good stop half way..... you have options there is a CAFE just as you ride out to the Murwillumbah bridge or a really good park under the Murwillumbah bridge looked a great…

Oh, now I know why MHL drive you crazy...

Now I know why you all dislike the mandatory helmet laws... Today, I needed to get from the Valley to West End, meet friends, and then do the return trip. Money is very tight at the moment and a bus trip costs$2.24 each way (off-peak).



Then I had a bright idea - subscribe to CityCycle (costs $2 for a day) and make sure each trip comes under half hour so it's free. All up, costing me $2, as opposed to $4.48.



Well, reality set in when I realised that I didn't have my helmet…

My first aggressive driver

Well, I did the commute again this morning, boy it was definitely cold this time!!

And I have a first - I was aggressively honked at by an arrogant driver, in an SUV, of course. Seriously, why is it always the SUV drivers? Quite upsetting, really. It occurred just after a notoriously dangerous left turn from Turbot St onto Barry Parade. In fact, pedestrians have been hit by idiots coming around that corner too fast.
