Training update (pt 2)
Time for a training update.
Last week was mostly successful in my daily training, a couple of days where the warm bed was too tempting over the cold rain outside. Need some improvement.

150 YEARS ON A TRIPLE - A long winded blog about a date with destiny
I’ve been curious about tandem bicycles for a while now. A long while ago, I came across an advertisement for a used triple for sale in Sydney. So I thought, if some is good, perhaps more is better - I need a triple! Then I started thinking about logistics - how to get a bicycle, that measured over three metres end-to-end, from Sydney to Brisbane, without without spending more on getting it to Brisbane than the cost of buying the bicycle. Training log part 1
Going to try something new, the technique of posting goals in public so I have more chance of following through with them :)
Some background, I've been on the large size most of my adult life. Part genetic disposition and part a side effect of sitting in front of a computer every day. Starting cycling 6 years ago had a massive impact on that, but now I hover between 100 and 105kg. When I was riding a lot more and racing I was doing OK but life with two kids plus my work routines…
