"I agree with Big Steve. You never have to set the time, date or location. Once it locks on to the satellites, it knows all these things. My 800 has been faultless in this regard. I have one of the front screen displays set on "Time" and…"

"Thanks for the advice. I do remember now that my Gazelle front dyno wheel doesn't spin that freely, but is fine to ride. My new one is a WH-3N71. It seems to be a DH-3N71 already laced into a 700C wheel by Shimano. Closely related to the…"

"Bought a Shimano dynamo hub front wheel (a 700C) with included headlight. On sale at Lifecycle, and couldn't resist getting it to play with. The light has a small single white LED which is always on and an incandescent bulb main light which can…"

"Saw this at Teneriffe yesterday morning. A City Cat Terminal being towed up the river by 2 tugs. Don't know where it was going, but 3 workers were sitting on the seats of the terminal, having their morning tea."

"Fully healed now thanks David. I even had a brief spin on the Optima today. Still doing most of my riding on the Greenspeed though (or the Colnago if I'm trying to keep up with riding buddies)."

"I've never noticed or heard of any accident or near miss involving any ebike, including non-compliant ones. To get so worked up over some possible/potential problem is in the realms of compulsory helmet advocacy."

About Me :
Keen, but not very fast. Ride with a group of workmates/others 2 or 3 times per week. We love to ride and eat. Do the 4 organised rides each year (BQ, MS, B2Ipsw, B2GC). My 13 yo rides with us now and then. Just did up an old CrMo framed road bike for him to grow into. See photos in "can anyone tell me what this frame is ?" He got a GT 29'er MTB for his 13th birthday. Those wheels are enormous! We both have recumbents now, and loving the comfortable ride. I really enjoy riding the Greenspeed. A pedal go-kart!

Hi Jeff! I actually joined specifically to find you as I couldn't find your business card (I think I sent it through the washing machine with the jeans I was wearing)... Are you on Facebook at all? I was hoping to add you to the Brissie Group for some leisurely rides!
