Jeff Moo commented on Paul Martin's group 'Bent Riders
"I can ride the Greenspeed at 20-23 km/hr, the Lynxx at 24-26 km/hr and the Colnago at 30 km/hr. Perhaps more-importantly, I can ride the Colnago uphill. Not too good at that yet on the bents. I can do it, but my legs are pretty beaten up by the time…"

"Matt, Good Luck- If you are going to need to spend some decent money, then might be time to upgrade- I see a Rohloff in your future.... Works for me "now, if I spent a tiny bit more, what could I get??" On another note, I saw a recumbent…"

Jeff Moo replied to Richard Bean's discussion ALDI bike specials 1st October
"Our local Aldi had the unicycle for $50. I was tempted (for about 2 seconds). Did anyone else feel the urge ? I have had an Aldi folder for about 4 years now. It is a big heavy lump in it's bag but rides fine and fits into a car boot. It is my…"

Jeff Moo replied to puddle jumper's discussion B2GC 2014
"The jersey thing is this year only to commemorate 10 years that the ride has been held. I would not expect it to become an annual thing. Got mine in the mail. Happy to wear it. I ride in short sleeves, so it suits me just fine."

Jeff Moo replied to Geoff Tewierik's discussion Cyclist killed outside Mater hospital

About Me :
Keen, but not very fast. Ride with a group of workmates/others 2 or 3 times per week. We love to ride and eat. Do the 4 organised rides each year (BQ, MS, B2Ipsw, B2GC). My 13 yo rides with us now and then. Just did up an old CrMo framed road bike for him to grow into. See photos in "can anyone tell me what this frame is ?" He got a GT 29'er MTB for his 13th birthday. Those wheels are enormous! We both have recumbents now, and loving the comfortable ride. I really enjoy riding the Greenspeed. A pedal go-kart!
