I'm in the process of converting a Sublime ladies MTB to a Cruzbike. It was good to read your comments and replies from everyone on the forum. Once my fractured wrist heals I will be able to get back to the conversion. …"
Just when I finally have a bit of time to attend one of the regular bent group rides, I fall off my upright and badly fracture 3 bones in my left wrist. Operation tomorrow to plate and pin it and possibly in plaster/brace for…"
Sorry to have to say Jess and I will be unable to attend tomorrow's ride - we were looking forward to it. However, I have to run a training session tomorrow morning so won't be able to make it. And…"
"At this stage Jessie and I will be starting from the little church on the Sandgate foreshore. Whilst she's been commuting all this week, not sure she's quite ready for the longer version of this ride. We're trying to ease…"
When I was out riding with Jess on Sunday we met up with Paul Hand who is a teacher at Aquinas College. He told me he is in the process of organising a Recumbent Trike Race on May 26/ 27th this year. The format is for schools…"
Jess's trike has arrived and we took it out for it's first spin on Sunday. She rode from her home at Toowong to QUT Gardens Point where she works then on to Southbank for lunch. After that we rode back to…"
I think he wants the most direct route and doesn't mind riding on roads. He's probably going to ride the Bruce to Cairns. I believe your second option might be the best one for him.
I tried to send this message to the group today but not sure if I did it correctly - sorry if I did something incorrect. So I thought I'd try again as I think it would be good to be able to assist Bruce…"

I own 2 Greenspeed trikes, both of which I picked up on Ebay. There is a buy/sell section on Brisbane Cyclist where you could place an ad. Bike Exchange may also be worth a look.
The Greenspeeds are a great ride aren't they! I built a homebuilt SWB recumbent many years ago to try out, it worked, but it felt very twitchy. It was another 15 years after that, that I got my first Greenspeed. Since then I have gone even further in the recumbent world and am the proud owner of a Mango velomobile.
Look out for our Recumbent rides which happen sort of regularly, we are well overdue for one at the moment, would be great to have you along. A normal turnout usually includes at least 1 velomobile (sometimes all 3in Bris), 1 or 2 trikes, 2 or more recumbent bikes and a few DF bike-we are not exclusive!! We normally ride to a place for breakfast and coffee. (often meet at Nundah and ride to Redcliffe/Woody Point area and return)
Welcome to Bris Cyclist, they are really nice people here!!
