The plan is that on 10 December, everyone who usually rides to work should drive their car instead. It's an amusing way of reminding people of the benefits to everyone of having cycle commuters. And there are a few amusing posters up on the 'wall'.

Permalink Reply by Raymond on March 8, 2012 at 7:13pm I was searching all over the page for the date and d'oh! Green must no longer mean anything to me in that I selectively ignore it. Green strips of death, green lights (but with others ignoring their red), "green" cars...
It looks small and quiet for now, but lets see if this becomes an annual event - surely it requires no more "management" to organise than "Ride to Work Day". :p
Permalink Reply by StephenW on March 8, 2012 at 7:34pm It's just the sort of mocking-yet-serious idea that appeals to me. It wouldn't take many cyclists filling up the 'early bird' spots in the carparks to make the point. I reckon only a small proportion of the cycle commuters at our building would grab the available space.
