A late heads up for a ride planned for this coming Sunday (27th), choice of 2 routes, Nundah criterium track to Nudgee Beach return to DFO for coffee and cake, or crit track - Sandgate - DFO.

The Sandgate loop is much longer and will be a brisk pace....

7:30am roll out from the track, aiming for a 9am meet at the DFO for coffee.

More details on the BRR facebook page, or post a query here!

Wired Kojaks. I wear Kojaks on the front of my trike and love 'em.  You would think they would be pretty wimpy but I've ridden over some horrible roads with them and had no problems.

James/JV ... wired or folding Kojaks?

I will be riding my new Lightning R-84 mid-racer on tomorrow's group ride.

I will be there.

Also: I have two (2) new, never mounted, Schwalbe Kojak tires, 26 x 1.35.  I made a mistake when ordering tires from Chainreaction in the UK and it would have cost me more to send them back then I paid for them.

I will bring them to Nundah tomorrow and offer them for $10 each (cost me $28.49)...or maybe even just give them away.

Great!  Look forward to meeting you.

!Gulp!!  Now I'm stuck!  Changing the time to 0830 means I'll have to make it.  O.k., I'll be there.  I've really wanted to make one of these rides for a long time.  Thanks for making the time change, I hope it is not too inconvenient and works out for everyone.

Time has been changed to 8:30 am.

No excuses now, James!

Comment by JamesD on February 10, 2018 at 6:11pm

James, yes the prime reason for the 7:30 start is to try and beat the heat, otherwise there is no issue with a later start (in fact those of us that ride some distance in quite welcome the later start).

Like most things, start time is flexible.  We'll discuss with the ride organiser and let you know.
