Petrie Mill University Precinct Active Transport Infrastructure

The Morton Bay Regional Council have invited the people to have a say on how the proposed Petrie Mill University precinct might be developed.

There is an opportunity here to not only get some active transport infrastructure built but to connect some fairly good existing infrastructure and create a network of connected on and off road paths which could service a large area of north-west Brisbane.

Petrie could become a hub for connections between the Moreton Bay Rail paths, Old Northern Road on and off road paths and arguably east of Lawnton and Strathpine to Bald Hills connecting to the on road path on Beckett Road and Bracken Ridge Road where other proposed connections to the motorway are proposed. The opportunity to have a say is now.

If you live in the area in or around the Petrie area or ride or walk through there - write to the Council and have a say.
