Good ole Brisbane ;)
Permalink Reply by Raymond on February 4, 2012 at 12:56am My family from the (far) north sound somewhat concerned about me biking when they hear about Brisbane getting some rain every now and then. I have to reassure them that our rain is different to the unrelenting monsoonal downpours that last for days at a time, and that more often than not it's possible to pick the right moments to ride, particularly with the magic of the Bureau's Doppler radar. Of course, at times it can be a fun change to just get wet (provided all electronics are sheltered in plastic). ;)
Permalink Reply by eBrent on February 4, 2012 at 12:54am What a great night. 8 of us turned up which was fantastic. Met some great people. Perfect weather - couldn't ask for much more.
The eBike went great guns, didn't skip a beat. Took on some pretty big hills without even breathing heavy.
Thanks to Ben for the lift home from the city too. Cheers mate - good bloke.
Thanks Ray for the info, interesting
