Let's go for a ride !!! City cruise
Hey All,
Come on a ride this Friday evening, Meet up at New Farm Park - Then head off towards the town, Go through QUT, crossover goodwill/kurilpa, Food & Drinks at Southbank and hopefully the spanish/greek donut man :) Then head off either to st lucia or cruise around the city some more. Not rock solid, Maybe you know a good place to visit?
There's also Roma st parkland.
This is intended as a casual ride, Encourage friends/family to come along and join in the fun.
*Depending on Rain, I never trust forecasts so I dont intend on planning according to forecasts. Rain is predicted but you know what it's like :) Hopefully gone by then...

Why: Beautiful evening ride with food and drinks, why the heck not???

Not too many this week, I got a mate at work who just got a bike 4 weeks ago, Im sure his coming.
Come along, even small groups are fun, Have you seen Bogga Rd Jail lately?
Bring your ideas along and we'll venture out.
Are you familiar with location of new farm/powerhouse?

Ben,
I have cleared things at home, and if you are still riding, then I'll be there. I'll be on the bright green flat bar road bike.
If it doesn't happen, then you are welcome to join our weekly night ride. Departs at 7.00pm every Wednesday night from the QUT end of the Goodwill Bridge (beside the City Cycle Station). We ride to West End (or the Regatta), then to Teneriffe, then back to the City for dinner. Casual friendly pace, about 25km. Just ask "is this Jeff's ride?"
Others (60 of you have viewed this) why not come along also ? The City at night is a great ride, and nice and cool at this time of year. You can join Ben's ride tonight or our Wednesday weekly ride.

I'd love to come with your group sometime, Though I work evenings till 9.45. Friday at work are 5 hours hence tonight :)
I will sort some days off soon and Ill come along. See you there tonight Jeff, my bike is in pic on profile but with rear rack now. My mate at work might be frail also, his is a iffy about coming. It will be heaps of fun either way.

I love night glides - low traffic, lots of time to think (or chat). I'm sure many of us are interested - I would have showed up if I wasn't going to a house warming (by bike of course with the fantastic weather and silent bikeways/back streets) so I'm definitely still keeping eye out for future events.
Hmm, I've never had churros before...
Also, regarding the day of the week: Friday is usually a pretty free night for me and more often than not I'm at home or on the bikeways. Won't be able to do many Wednesdays but could be up for it this coming week.

Is that a ride tonight, or are you planning it tonight for the week ahead? If it's the former, I'll be occupied from around 5-7pm, but after that (and the week ahead) could work fine.

Raymond, The Wed night ride happens every week (unless it is raining). Just show up prior to the 7.00 pm departure as per my reply above. Everyone is welcome (if you are friendly). We dine at Jackpot in Albert St at the end of the ride (about 8.45pm). Mains are under $10.
